Wide eyed and waking to this world,
My hands are shaking. And for once,
I can be sure that I’m not breaking. For once,
I can be sure that you’re not faking.
And for the life of me I can’t recall what made me want to leave it all, what made you want to talk it all away?
And what, in God’s Name, makes you want to stay?
Open hearts and you don't seem to mind
That I’m imperfect. And for once,
I can expect it. And for once,
I can believe that I am worth it.
And I don't suppose you’ll stay a while; I think that I could use a smile, cause somehow you can make these miles brief.
I never thought that I’d be sighing such relief.
Wide eyed and comprehending.
What I thought was you pretending was just
Your attempt at mending. It was
Only you, defending me.
And my heartbeats drumming for this fear of becoming what I swore that I would never, ever be
Frozen: Looking at you looking right through me.

Living is easy with eyes closed,
misunderstanding all you see..
It's getting hard to be someone
but it all works out,
it doesn't matter much to me.

by a lonely prison wall
i heard a young girl calling
michael they have takin' u away
for you stole trevlyn's corn
so the young might see the morn
now a prison ship lies waiting in the bay
The rhyme sceme is different, but I LOVE it.

Don't wander through this glassy surface,
Expectin' to find more than me,
'Cause what am I without a purpose,
But a lone mirage to see?
